Okay…well not if this is where you end up, but getting there can be (Photo: Private Residence at El Dorado Golf & Beach Club– Cabo San Lucas Mexico).

Since I travel about 85,000 miles per year (hello United Mileage Plus and Southwest A-List Member status), I am always looking for the most convenient means to make my trips efficient and comfortable. Cue the Packing Cubes and new Carry On Duffle luggage.

eBags Travel Cubes

1. Packing Cubes by eBags

These are lightweight and keep you organized within your luggage. If you are like me and don’t like putting things in drawers once you arrive at the final destination, then these can aid in hindering the anxiety about forgetting something when trying to pack for that 4am wakeup.

Carry On Luggage

2. Lipault Paris 20″ Foldable 2 Wheeled Duffle Bag

This bag is my new best friend. I have gone through numerous carry on style bags, and I think this is the winner. It only weighs 5.5 lbs, and can fit up to 4 days of light travel necessities (I’m not sure that includes one too many paris of shoes though). It has wheels (umm ya, a must!), three straps for extra portability, a zip top for easy access while on the mode of transportation, is durable, and it folds down for easy storage when not in use.

Right off the bat, the price may scare you. I found it on eBags for $189.00 (ships free), and yes it is pretty steep, but coming from someone who has used an inexpensive (in fact a free as a gift with purchase) piece of luggage I now know while friendly on my bank account, it only lasted about 3 trips.

This bag is ready to see the world.
