In my quest to combat certain issues regarding my skin type, I came across the Boscia peel off mask. I was first given this as a sample at my local Sephora store. (Quick tip: head there and ask to try out certain products. This is how I tend to stock up on foundations etc., for travel purposes.)
I first used the sample when I was in Orlando, FL working for Oakley on just one of our 13 stops during the ProAM and road to the Skull Cup. More on that in another post.
The mask is preservative free, dermatologist tested, Ethanol alcohol-free, pH balanced, 100% artificial fragrance and color free, which in a nut shell- I’m a big fan of.
To use you simply apply an opaque layer onto your face trying to avoid our eyes, eyebrows, hairline, and lips. Once you have basically scared everyone who comes to your hotel room door, have snapped an equally as scary Instagram picture, and the mask is dried (about 30 min), you start peeling away. I’m a big fan of those nose pore strips, so this was super exciting for me! It came off in one piece, and my skin was detoxified and super smooth. They weren’t kidding when the package clearly states to stay away from any hair, because it will definitely make your eyes water if you catch to much in it. I have a high tolerance for pain, but I also like having two eyebrows.
So to some it up, if you are looking for a functional mask for all skin types, want to get some laughs in just about 30 minutes, and are searching for a relatively inexpensive high end skin care product…then this is your bag baby. Cost is $34.00, but again, try a sample out first, and don’t forget to send me your Insta pics if you try it by mentioning me @reneeherlocker, or (hashtag) #MyBestBeauty
